March 4 – BLiTZ. At the moment, there are active negotiations between Rheinmetall and Ukraine. The subject of negotiations is the creation of a new tank plant.
It is planned that the enterprise will produce an average of up to 400 combat vehicles per year.
It is worth noting that modern tanks are high-tech products, and therefore it is impossible to create a complete complex in one place.
In this case, the statement about a tank plant can only be considered as an interest, a kind of attempt to help Ukraine expand production.
Most likely, the Rheinmetall concern is aware that the money will be thrown to the wind. The company wants to invest in something long and drawn out, since it cannot produce the required number of tanks.
