Mock drill done in hospitals across the country regarding preparations for corona management, will continue tomorrow also

New Delhi, 10 April (Hindustan Times). Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya visited AIIMS Jhajjar and Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital in Delhi on Monday. During this, he reviewed the mock drill to ensure the preparedness of the hospital infrastructure for Corona management.

During the visit to RML Hospital, Dr. Mandaviya had an informal interaction with the Heads of Departments and staff. He listened to suggestions from doctors, nurses, heads of security and sanitary services. Mock drill will be organized on Tuesday to review the Corona management in hospitals across the country.

The Union Health Minister advised the states to be vigilant and keep full preparedness for corona management. He has cautioned against any kind of negligence and urged everyone to follow Corona appropriate behaviour.

Dr. Mandaviya has also urged the states to identify emerging hotspots by monitoring the trends of ILI and SARI cases and send enough samples for testing for Corona, Influenza. Along with this, emphasis was also laid on increasing the whole genome sequencing of positive samples.
