Since the beginning of the year, 45 homeless animals have been caught in the Krasnoflotsky district of Khabarovsk. About this IA AmurMedia reported in the press service of the city administration.

In total, since January 1, the district management committee has received about a hundred reports of homeless animals from local residents. They were transferred to the Boniface veterinary center, whose specialists caught 45 dogs.

Animals were vaccinated against rabies and sterilized, they were also marked with permanent marks. After that, they were released into the streets. The district management committee clarified that the trapping of cats on applications has been temporarily suspended.

Meanwhile, as reported Transsibinfo.com, a working group has been created in the region, which will deal with issues related to stray animals. It included employees of the veterinary department, animal rights activists, owners of commercial zoo clinics, deputies and even representatives of the education department.

The issue of keeping animals that are not subject to re-release into their former habitat remains the most acute today.
