Ranchi: A total of more than 83 thousand cases were executed in the National Lok Adalat. During this a settlement of more than 7.5 crores was done. National Lok Adalat was organized on Saturday at Ranchi Civil Court on the instructions of the Executive Chairman of Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority. It was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Chief Justice of the Family Court, Rashikesh Kumar. Additional Chief Justice Sanjita Srivastava, MACT PO Manish, Dalsa Secretary Rakesh Ranjan, RDBA President Shambhu Prasad Aggarwal, RDBA Secretary Sanjay Vidrohi, judicial officers, mediators, panel advocates, PLV and others were present in the programme.

During the National Lok Adalat, Judge of Jharkhand High Court and Executive President of Jhalsa, Justice S. Chandrasekhar, High Court Judge Gautam Kumar Chaudhary, Rajesh Kumar from Jhalsa and other judicial officers reached Ranchi Civil Court and inspected the National Lok Adalat. During this, he gave directions to all the judicial officers.

For the successful conduct of the National Lok Adalat, 23 benches for judicial magistrates and 19 benches for executive magistrates were constituted. Today, a total of more than 83 thousand cases were executed in the National Lok Adalat and a settlement of more than 7.5 crores was done. This includes execution of prelitigation and litigation promises. Prior to organizing the National Lok Adalat, more than 6 lakh beneficiaries were provided benefits under various schemes with the cooperation of the district administration. Beneficiaries were given benefits from schemes worth more than 125 crores.
