March 4 – BLiTZ. Russian submarines are capable of reaching targets in Europe and the United States. In the West, they began to seriously think about the threat posed by the Russian Navy, writes the American edition of Newsweek.

Against the backdrop of the conflict in Ukraine, everyone somehow forgot about a less noticeable, but much more dangerous threat posed by Russia – its naval forces, the newspaper’s columnist believes.

The Russian Federation owns one of the most powerful navies in the world, and in recent years the government has focused on the production of submarines that carry nuclear warheads. And they can easily hit targets in both continental Europe and the Americas, the author of the article emphasized.

Earlier, the Chinese media called the Russian submarine “Borey” one of the most important threats to NATO.
