No one should poke nose into Kashmir affairs

Pro Caliphate and radical Islamist group Hefazat e Islam (HeI) has issued a statement criticizing the Arab world for their “silence” on the Jammu and Kashmir affairs. In a statement, one of the bigwigs of JeI, Junayed Babunagari called upon the Arab world to intervene into the recent actions of the Indian government on the Jammu and Kashmir issues and demanded international pressure on India for “persecution” of Muslims.

It isn’t necessary for someone to assess who has instructed those HeI men to issue such statement, as all of us are aware, Pakistani spy agency ISI has been playing foul for decades in Jammu and Kashmir. Because of ISI, that part of India has long turned into the breeding ground of radical Islamist militancy while Jammu and Kashmir had been used as terror launchpad by Pakistan. Under such circumstances, Indian policymakers had to initiate an appropriate measure in salvaging Jammu and Kashmir from the evil grips of Islamists and jihadists.

If we carefully analyze the situation in Jammu and Kashmir, we shall clearly understand that some notorious elements have been continuing destructive activities and terrorism for decades simply by misguiding the locals almost in the same pattern as those terrorists within Gaza and the lands occupied by Palestinian invaders.

Kashmir, India and Article 370

Policymakers in the United States believe that the abrogation of Article 370 by India is an internal matter for the country but it has external ramifications. A senior official of the State Department said, “We recognize that it’s an internal matter, but it obviously has implications outside of India’s borders. And so we have long called for direct conversations between India and Pakistan to resolve what have been the decades of tensions generated by that issue”.

It may be mentioned here that, international community, especially the world powers such as the United States are willing to ensure there is no human rights violation in Kashmir and the valley should reach to normalcy, on the other hand, there is extreme fear of Pakistan enhancing its activities and patronizing terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir taking full advantage of the latest development centering the Article 370.

Since August 5, 2019, when Article 370 was abrogated and Jammu and Kashmir bifurcated into two Union Territories – Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

To Pakistan, Kashmir always will remain a key issue in putting its arch-rival India into trouble. Due to Pakistan’s habit of patronizing terrorism and militancy, its economy has been suffering immensely while Pakistan reputation in the world has already been established as a terror patron nation, which ultimately is hampering the foreign investment that Pakistan badly needs to grow its economy. By patronizing terrorism, Pakistan in fact has never been benefitted. Still, there is no sign of Pakistan’s giving up the agenda of exporting terrorism and militancy through the Kashmir valley.

On the other hand, being greatly frightened and frustrated at Pakistan’s continuous patronization towards jihadists, India has already picked up a topic through which it can at least take revenge of Pakistan’s patronization for those jihadists in Kashmir.

Indian policymakers are gradually increasing patronization to a few thousands of people from Baluchistan. Under direct or indirect funding from India, a few dozens of so-called rights activists are regularly spreading imaginary stories centering those Baluch people.

While we definitely can expect every country in the world refraining from interfering into Kashmir issue, we equally would ask Indian authorities of meddling into internal affairs of any country in the region. In this case, the way Indian policymakers are nakedly giving instigations to anti-Beijing groups in Tibet or anti-Islamabad groups in Baluchistan, it certainly proves – India actually is inclined in playing foul with its neighbors, with the wrong desire of emerging as a regional power. Previously India has done the same thing with Bangladesh by providing support, funding, training, and logistics to terrorist groups named Shanti Bahini in the Chittagong Hill Tract.

In the name of demand for “right of self-determination” Muslim population in Jammu and Kashmir has been engaged in terrorism and jihadist activities. Radical Islam has spread throughout the valley during the past decades. Of course, the abrogation of Article 370 would not help in stopping the spread of radical Islam or terrorism and jihadist activities in Kashmir. For the sake of eliminating such demons, Indian authorities should immediately undertake massive projects of deradicalizing people, stopping the spread of radical Islam and also immediately abandon its decades-old practice of extending support towards mega-terror outfit Hamas and those Palestinian jihadists. Unless Indian policymakers would not do so, the latest crisis in Kashmir will ultimately emerge as the pivotal factor of the disintegration of India most possibly within the span of the next 15-20 years.

It is important to note, radical Hindutva is on rise in India and thuggish followers of such notorious ideology are already expressing the desire of waging all-out war against non-Hindus – more precisely Muslims, Christians, and Sikhs in India. These radical Hindus consider pro-Nazi individuals like Subhash Chandra Bose as their iconic figure, while most of the top-ranking leaders of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), including Prime Minister Narendra Modi consider Adolph Hitler as a hero. Most definitely, India is at the most crucial and extremely difficult time – where either its ruling force – the radical Hinduists would either succeed in establishing supremacy by fulfilling its desire of expanding hegemony within the region thus creating a chaotic situation or moderate Hindus will speak out against radical Hinduists and would form alliance with anti-religious extremist forces and salvage India from the fate of turning into a radical Hinduist nation.
