Ranchi: Like every year, a three-day big worship festival is to be celebrated at Manitola, Hinoo, Ranchi. According to Pawan Paswan, Chief Secretary of Jai Maa Kali Jagdamba Trust, this year about 03 lakh devotees will gather.
Big Puja Festival on the day of Vat Savitri Puja
Let us tell you that this annual festival is celebrated every year on the day of Vat Savitri Puja, the biggest festival of married women. According to the Hindu calendar, Vat Savitri Puja falls on the new moon day of Jyestha month. This time the three-day Bada Puja festival is starting from 18 May 2023, Thursday. Shobha Yatra will be taken out on this day from 04 pm. At the same time, Vat Savitri Puja i.e. 19 May 2023, will be the main worship on Friday. Whereas on May 20, Saturday, the festival will end with Jagran in the evening.

The enthusiasm of the devotees in the scorching heat
The preparation for the puja is in its final stage. According to Pawan Paswan, secretary of Jai Maa Kali Jagdamba Trust, the Bada Puja festival is being organized since 1978. It was started by the main worshiper of the temple, Sona Devi. He realized to celebrate the annual festival on the day of Vat Savitri, since then this three-day festival is being celebrated from that day itself.
