The Oryol Regional Court recovered 200,000 rubles from the Veterinary Administration after an attack by a pack of stray dogs on a local resident. The incident occurred on June 6 last year at the intersection of Burova and Razdolnaya streets. The dogs bit the man severely. He managed to save thanks to a passing taxi driver who intervened after seeing the attack. The man was hospitalized and then went to home treatment.

The victim sued local officials. The court of first instance exacted compensation for non-pecuniary damage in the amount of 50,000 rubles from the administration. This decision was appealed.

After that, the Judicial Collegium for Civil Cases of the Regional Court increased the amount to 200,000 rubles.

Earlier, on February 28, it was reported that the Investigative Committee of the ICR for the Khabarovsk Territory and the Jewish Autonomous Region was conducting an inspection after the appearance in the media of information about an attack by a stray dog ​​on a woman in Birobidzhan. She has minor injuries, there is no threat to life and health.
