Last year in March, two Pakistani nationals named Aslam Ansari alias Roshan Mirza and Imtiaz Waris alias Sameer Waris alias Imtiaz contacted this newspaper offering “hot scoops” about a “large number of Pakistani politicians, including their “private-life sex secrets”. Imtiaz Waris alias Sameer Waris alias even went further by visiting office of this newspaper and proclaiming himself as a “consultant of FBI [Federal Bureau of Investigation” with connections with “top-brasses” in Pakistan army as well as Pakistani spy agency Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI). He offered “large volume of evidences” on corruption and perverted private lives of almost every Pakistani politician, including Benazir Bhutto in exchange of a hefty amount of cash. As we did not show any interest in his offer because we already had lost of information, data and evidence against many Pakistani politicians, another man named Aslam Ansari contacted us from France claiming Imtiaz Waris alias Sameer Waris had stolen “valuable information” on Pakistani politicians from him and he offered the same information on a “complimentary basis”. But we were fully aware of this man – Aslam Ansari as back in 2012~2013, BLiTZ published several “reports” written by Ansari, which were later proved to be totally false and imaginary stories. Subsequently all of those contents were removed. After almost six years, the same Aslam Ansari started contacting BLiTZ via email by using pseudonyms stating “those exclusive reports published in BLiTZ were prolific and informative” and each time the sender of those emails was requesting us to republish those Aslam Ansari trash.
After almost a year, the same Imtiaz Waris alias Sameer Waris alias Imtiaz sent an email to us on May 28, 2022 from an AOL email address ‘dovepark1’ stating:
How are you doing today?
Hope this email finds you well?
I will be so glad if you can do me a favor.

Let us know whom you are looking for at our newspaper office and what sort of favor you want, please.
On May 30,2022 the same man sent a reply from a GMAIL account using ‘dovepark1’ email address stating:

On the same day we replied:
Yes we do. Why?
Then again Imtiaz Waris alias Sameer Waris alias Imtiaz using his GMAIL account wrote:
Glad! I’ve been trying to purchase a $150 Amazon E-Gift card by email, but it says they are having issues charging my card. I contacted my bank and they told me it would take a couple of days to get it sorted. I intend to buy it for my Friend of mine who is diagnosed with stage 4 mesothelioma cancer, It’s her birthday today. Can you purchase it from your end for me, I am just trying to put a smile on her face in this trying times. I’ll send you a check regarding the refund later. While we even don’t know you, it is strange that you are requesting us to buy something for you. Are you a scammer?

Yes, Imtiaz Waris alias Sameer Waris alias Imtiaz is a scammer, a liar, and a con-artists.
When we published several investigative reports exposing nasty private lives of a few Pakistani high-profile politicians, an individual named Urooj Zia continued sending threatening emails, warning this newspaper to refrain from publishing any such content from Aslam Ansari in the future, although we had already decided to ignore any stuff sent by this Paris-based individual as those lacked evidences. Although Ansari has been repeatedly requesting us to re-publish his contents, we have declined because, those are based on mere imagination or hearsay. Furthermore, his intention was to extort US$1 billion from Asif Ali Zardari by blackmailing him through these contents. Being a responsible newspaper, we do not offer any scope to a blackmailer – under any circumstance.
After attacking Blitz with extremely nasty, harsh, indecent and deplorable ways, the same person named Urooj Zia [who possibly is the pen name of Sherry Rehman] came up with the following statement:
We are bringing this to your attention that the person Imtiaz Waris who has given you the information related to the articles you published about Benazir Bhutto and Sherry Rehman in the last few days, has ulterior motives and a vendetta against these both individuals. He has a history of mental instability and making false claims.
He was already harassing Sherry Rehman when she was posted in USA during 2011-2012 and when she refused and spurned his illegal and immoral advances he held a spiteful vendetta against her.
Our preliminary investigation about him reveals a disturbing pattern of behavior. He is already involved with prostitutes and women of ill repute. His own family and kids have disowned him due to his mental instability and unethical lifestyle. He likes to give the impression that he is a highly connected person and he likes to boast about his association with people (specially women) in high places. These are all part of his imaginary world built up to make up his own insecurities as a weak and pathetic man.
The reality is that he is a broke, two bit person and a complete failure who then tries to vent his frustration upon other people, especially women who he targets as a predator.
He had targeted Sherry Rehman on several social media platforms 10-11 years ago. Sherry gave him a sympathetic ear and maybe that was a mistake and her fault since he abused her kindness and tried to be a predator. Sherry was too smart for him and eventually told him to backoff and stay away and never ever contact her again.
Sadly and unfortunately this sick minded person has taken this to heart and now is trying to use your publication Weekly Blitz for his own ugly spiteful self.
I hope you will not let your publication be the instrument of such a vendetta.
The reason behind not paying any heed to emails from Urooj Zia is, we did not publish the 2021 reports exposing nasty private lives of Pakistani politicians based on trash supplied by Aslam Ansari or Imtiaz Waris alias Sameer Waris alias Imtiaz. But now at least we understand, Urooj Zia alias Sherry Rehman was correct about the character of Imtiaz Waris alias Sameer Waris. He surely is a scammer.
