Panchayats and villages in Bihar will be connected with necessary institutions, additional roads will be built on the advice of legislators

The state government has made a plan to connect panchayats and villages so that the best facilities can reach the rural areas of Bihar, as well as facilitate the movement of people. Under which, on the advice of regional MLAs and MLCs, Panchayats and big villages which are far away from the main roads will be connected to necessary institutions by making additional roads.

This project is a part of Saat Nischay Part-2

Under this new scheme, administrative unit, market, health, educational, tourism, traffic, bank, fuel station, MSME unit and flood shelter are included. Along with this, block headquarters will also be linked with subdivision and district headquarters. If needed for this, bypass will also be constructed. Work on all these schemes will start under additional accessible connectivity in the state. This plan is a part of Seven Determinations Part-2.

Responsibility for making road entrusted to Rural Works Department

According to sources, the government was getting such information that many panchayats and villages are still present at a greater distance from the main roads. All of them do not have direct connectivity with SH, NH or major district roads. Also, there is no road to directly reach the institutions providing essential services. In such a situation, if needed, one had to travel long distances to go to other important places including market, hospital, school or bank. Taking cognizance of this, the government has entrusted the responsibility of making such additional rural roads to the Rural Works Department by including it in Part-2 of Seven Determinations. Now with the construction of these roads, people will get a lot of convenience and connectivity with essential services will increase.
