A bus carrying passengers from Ahmedabad returning to Rishikesh after visiting the Char Dhams suddenly overturned on the road near Kodiala on the Rishikesh-Badrinath National Highway. Due to this, 27 people in the bus were injured, in which 4 people have been admitted to Rishikesh Government Hospital and 23 people have been admitted to AIIMS.

On Saturday, Bhavna Ben, a resident of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, told that 27 people of the same family had gone on Char Dham Yatra from Ahmedabad on May 3. During this, he traveled efficiently to the Char Dhams, when he was returning back to Delhi, suddenly his bus overturned on the UP 17A 7489 road. In this accident, 55-year-old Bhavna Ben wife Prakash Bhai, 24-year-old Parita Dhawal wife Dhawal Kumar, 47-year-old Manisha Ben wife Mukesh Bhai, 52-year-old Gauri Bain wife Ramesh Bhai were brought to the state hospital and the remaining 23 people were brought to AIIMS. The passengers told that they had eaten food together at a place half an hour before the bus overturned. After this, their bus had gone only a short distance when suddenly it overturned. He had to catch a train from Delhi to Ahmedabad.
