Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the newly constructed transport complex at Phulwarisharif on Tuesday. According to the information, at present, the transport department will start the movement of buses for two routes Danapur and Patna AIIMS with immediate effect from the transport complex. At the same time, the buses of other buses will continue to operate from Bankipur Bus Depot adjacent to Gandhi Maidan for a few months.

Buses ply from Bankipur Bus Depot to all parts of Bihar, Nepal and Delhi. However, it is difficult for commuters from outside Patna to catch buses from the transport complex at Phulwarisharif. Especially during the night, the problem can increase even more. Renovation work of a big workshop is going on in the Transport Department. A major problem in operating buses from the transport complex is also related to the shortage of employees. According to the information, Bankipur bus depot will not be completely shifted to the transport complex.
Due to non-construction of petrol pump and CNG station, there will be difficulty in shifting the buses.
The transport complex is fully built (except the workshop). But hundreds of government buses ply daily. Petrol pumps and CNG stations have not yet been completed in the transport complex. The movement of buses will start completely only after both are built.

Still some time to shift DTO office
At present, the DTO office is being operated from Biscoman Bhawan adjacent to Gandhi Maidan. However, due to administrative work, there should not be much problem in shifting the DTO. But comprehensive information related to Phulwarisharif Transport Complex is not available among the people. But within a month the DTO is expected to be shifted to the transport complex at Phulwarisharif.
