Patna Metro will be built in two corridors. At present, the construction work of elevated metro is going on between Saguna Mod to Patalipatra Railway Station and Mithapur to Khemnichak in Corridor One. Whereas in Corridor Two, work is going on between Rajendra Nagar Terminal and Malahi Pakdi. In Patna Metro, more part of elevated than elevated will remain underground. The metro will be 32.497 km long, whose construction work is targeted to be completed in 2026.

In Corridor 1, Danapur, Saguna Mode, RPS Mod, Patliputra, Mithapur, Ramakrishnanagar, Jaganpura and Khemnichak stations will remain elevated. While Corridor 2 will have Patliputra Bus Terminal, Zeromile, Bhootnath, Khemnichak and Malahi Pakdi elevated stations.

While talking about underground stations, Patna Junction, Vidyut Bhawan, Vikas Bhawan, Chidiyaghar, Rajabazar, Rukanpura will have underground metro stations in Corridor 1. Patna Junction, Akashvani, Gandhi Maidan, PMCH, Patna University, Moinul Haq Stadium in Corridor 2. And there will be underground stations in Rajendranagar. Let us inform that the meeting point of both the corridors will be near Khemnichak and Patna Junction. This will be called interchange station.
