PM Gati Shakti Regional Workshop to be organized in Srinagar from Friday

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry is organizing a two-day regional workshop from Friday to promote infrastructure projects using the ‘Prime Minister’s (PM) dynamic National Master Plan’ (NMP) platform in Srinagar.

The commerce ministry said in a statement that the workshop is part of a series of five workshops being organized by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) in five regions – South, North, Western, Central and North-East.

These workshops, in various sectors, will ensure wider adoption of PM Gati Shakti in project planning, it added. It added that this exercise will bring together all stakeholders of PM Gati Shakti NMP for deliberations resulting in exchange of information between States and Central Ministries/Departments.”

The regional workshop will be attended by senior government officials from various ministries including road, railways, telecom, power, shipping, renewable energy and civil aviation. It will also have participation from Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, National Capital Territory of Delhi, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Punjab.
