PM Modi will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the centenary year of Geetapress, PMO approved the invitation

Gorakhpur. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the centenary year celebrations of Gita Press, a world-renowned organization for publishing religious, spiritual and cultural books. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will receive PM Modi. On the request of Geeta Press Management, the Prime Minister’s Office has approved the PM’s participation. However, this information has not yet been given by the Prime Minister’s Office that on which date PM Modi will attend. A request has definitely been made on behalf of Geetapress management on 30th May. On the arrival of PM, preparations are also being made to release the special issue of Shri Shiv Mahapuran by Geetapress.

Preparations for the ceremony on PM’s visit on war footing

Geetapress administrator Lalmani Tiwari says that the Prime Minister has accepted the invitation to participate as the chief guest in the centenary year closing ceremony. Soon the date and time of his program will be decided by the Prime Minister’s Office. According to Lal Mani Tiwari, Geetapress management has requested the Prime Minister regarding the date of 30th May. As soon as the information about the approval of PM Modi’s arrival was received, Geetapress has intensified the preparations for the ceremony on a war footing.

Publication of more than 92 crore books so far

Geetapress is the world’s largest publishing house in terms of publication of religious and spiritual books. The credit goes to Geetapress for taking Shriramcharitmanas and Shrimad Bhagwat texts to every household. Geetapress was established in 1923 by Seth Jaydayal Goyandka in a rented building. With the association of world famous householder Saint Bhaiji Hanuman Prasad Poddar with Geetapress and the publication of Kalyan Patrika, its fame became increasingly global. Its role in preserving Sanatan Dharma and culture through literature publication is as important as temples and pilgrimage sites. Since its inception, more than 92 crore books have been published by Geetapress.
