New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hand over appointment letters to about 71 thousand newly appointed employees under the employment fair on Tuesday. These appointments are being made in various departments of the Central Government as well as in State Governments and Union Territories. According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Prime Minister Modi will also address these newly appointed employees on the occasion.

Appointment letters will be handed over through video conferencing

In a statement issued by the PMO, it has been said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute about 71,000 appointment letters to the newly recruited people through video conference on May 16 at 10.30 am. This job fair will be organized at 45 places across the country. These new employees selected from across the country will serve on various posts under the Government of India.

Recruitment for which posts

According to the report of the news agency Bhasha, these new recruitments are in various departments and ministries of the Central Government as well as in the State Governments and Union Territories for Gramin Dak Sevak, Postal Inspector, Commercial-cum-Ticket Clerk, Junior Clerk-cum-Typist, Junior Accounts Clerk, Track Maintainer, Assistant Section Officer, Lower Division Clerk, Sub Divisional Officer and Tax Assistant will be on the posts. Apart from this, on the posts of Assistant Enforcement Officer, Inspector, Nursing Officer, Assistant Security Officer, Fireman, Assistant Accounts Officer, Divisional Accountant, Auditor, Constable, Head Constable, Assistant Commandant, Principal, Trained Graduate Teacher, Assistant Registrar, Assistant Professor etc. There will also be appointments.

Newly appointed employees will be able to train themselves

The PMO said that the employment fair is a step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s commitment to give top priority to employment generation. The statement said that the job fair will act as a catalyst in employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development. These newly recruited personnel will get an opportunity to train themselves through ‘Karmayogi Prarambh’, which is an online orientation course for all new recruits in various government departments.
