Polish authorities oblige Ukrainian refugees to pay for housing

March 1 – BLiTZ. The Polish authorities introduced changes to the rules for keeping Ukrainian refugees. Now migrants are forced to pay for living in special centers. This publication reports Interia.

It is noted that this measure is intended to finally arouse the desire to work among the citizens of the Independent. In their material, the authors of Interia note that Ukrainians are extremely unhappy with this decision of the Polish authorities, since not all migrants can earn money. For example, mothers with children. The new rule, according to the refugees, is tantamount to buying a ticket to their native country.

The Polish authorities, in turn, note that they warned Ukrainians about taking these measures last fall. However, most citizens of Ukraine were extremely surprised when the Polish government introduced a new rule, since they did not take all the warnings seriously.
