For this, the department is collecting information from post offices in rural areas and other sources at its own level. The intention behind this is to provide banking services to the people where there are no banks. Four years ago, Kolhan had two head post offices, while there were 65 sub-post offices. More than 100 new sub post offices have been opened recently.
