Posters against Prime Minister Modi put up in Delhi, FIR lodged

Delhi Police has registered at least 100 FIRs in connection with the putting up of posters against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital. Officials gave this information on Wednesday.

He said that in many parts of Delhi, such posters were found pasted on walls and pillars with the words “Modi Hatao, Desh Bachao” written on them.

According to officials, at least 2,000 posters were removed and an equal number of posters were seized from a van in IP Estate when it was leaving the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) headquarters on DDU Marg.

He said that the said vehicle was also seized and six people including the owners of two printing presses have been arrested in connection with the case.

Special Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Dipendra Pathak confirmed that the police have registered 100 FIRs against the Prime Minister for pasting posters.
