People of the United Arab Emirates and the State of Israel are celebrating the beginning of a new era of friendship and cooperation, with the Jewish State’s national flag carrier beginning flights with Abu Dhabi. Analysts are seeing this as a sign of the waning of the Arab nation’s decade-old undue sympathy towards the Palestinian terrorists and their false statehood. When such a fresh breeze of cooperation between Israel and the United Arab Emirates is being appreciated worldwide, Turkish fascist and radical Islamist Recep Tayyip Erdogan has exhibited his evil desire of cooperating with Islamist terrorists by hosting a number of top figures of the mega-terror outfit Hamas.
The El Al airliner made the three-hour trip, carrying a delegation of Israeli and US officials. The flight was allowed to cross Saudi Arabian airspace, normally blocked to Israeli air traffic.
The UAE has become only the third Arab country in the Middle East to recognize Israel since its founding in 1948.
On Saturday, the UAE repealed a law boycotting Israel which had been in place since 1972, and earlier this month the two countries opened direct telephone services for the first time.
The agreement to normalize relations – brokered by the US – was made public in a surprise announcement on 13 August.
Commenting on the UAE-Israel relations, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “This is a historic agreement. It will bring engines of growth. It can help bring about an economic flourishing in general and during the corona era in particular. I hope that other countries in our region will join the cycle of peace.”
As the majority of the international media are openly showing optimism and delight at the opening of new vista of cooperation between Israel and UAE, terror-patron Qatar’s dubious news outlet Al Jazeera saw this cooperation as “dangerous liaison”.
A senior writer at Al Jazeera, commenting on the USE-Israel relations wrote: “The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been so enamored with Israel that even before formalizing their new bilateral agreement, they had started normalizing relations on many levels, including communications, transportation, and security among others.
“What appeared to be a “marriage of convenience” has been in fact a full-fledged love affair. Unlike traditional marriages, the two fell in love and secretly consummated their relationship well before officially announcing the wedding date.
“Indeed, the announcement had been a long time coming, considering the many hints and winks from both sides, but it was the Trump administration that was eager to break the news with much fanfare ahead of the US elections.
“The Emirati attempt to spin its appeasement as a strategic calculation to stop Israel’s illegal annexation of Palestinian lands and promote Middle East peace was laughed at in Palestine and throughout the region.”
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump’s national security adviser said, more Arab and Muslim countries were likely to follow the United Arab Emirates in normalizing relations with Israel.
The White House official Robert O’Brien, and Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem on the eve of talks in Abu Dhabi on finalizing formal Israel-UAE ties.
One of the most significant developments in Saudi Arabia, which has always been extremely inclined towards the Palestinians has opened its sky for Israeli airlines to operate flights. This also clearly shows the shift in foreign policy of the Kingdom and most definitely Crown Prince Salman’s intellect, who too has realized, it was their blunder extending support towards Palestinians. While the Arab nations are showing signs of abandoning their decade-old wrong-hood of supporting Palestinian terrorists, Turkish dictator Erdogan, who has his own agenda of establishing a caliphate within the Arab nations by reviving the Ottoman blueprint has started openly cooperating Hamas and Palestinian terrorist, most possibly with the dangerous agenda of spreading seeds of terrorism throughout the Middle East. It may be recalled here that, Recep Tayyip Erdogan has cooperated with Islamic State and even been one of its key allies in dealing with petroleum. It is even rumored that Islamic State is having significant investments in Turkey through a number of pseudo establishments under the direct patronization of Erdogan.
While there are signs of possible relations between the Arab nations and Israel, a number of non-Arab Muslim nations also are actively considering beginning relations with the Jewish State, thus abandoning their decade-old wrong diplomatic policy of unnecessarily supporting the false statehood of the Palestinians.
Meanwhile, the Trump administration is eagerly persuading other Arab and non-Arab Muslim countries to establish full diplomatic relations with Israel after its success in doing so between the UAE and the Jewish State.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo visited Sudan and Bahrain, two of the administration’s top prospects for bringing Israel together with more of its neighbors in a region where it has faced generations of hostility.
Amongst the Asian Muslim nations, Pakistan is unwilling in reestablishing economic relations with Israel because of the heavy influence of the radical Muslim parties and fronts. Moreover, Imran Khan himself is known for his radical Islamic approach. But of course, a moderate Muslim country like Bangladesh may also shift its Israel policy and follow the path of the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia etcetera. In this case, the Trump administration may play a significant role by sending a high-level delegation to Bangladesh for encouraging Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in taking necessary steps in initially lifting the travel ban on Israel and onwards open the window of economic and diplomatic relations.
