Regulator: Germany may face gas shortages in winter

                        March 23 - BLiTZ.  Germany may run out of gas next winter, and its residents will have to reduce fuel consumption even more.

According to Klaus Müller, head of the German Federal Grid Agency, the energy crisis in Germany is not over yet, and its development will depend on what the temperature will be next winter.

As the head of the German regulator said, such risks include the rapid recovery of the Chinese economy, which has caused an increase in demand for gas and may affect its price.

Muller noted that next winter will be the first that Germany will experience in the complete absence of Russian gas.
