At the same time, during the visit to Greece, the Moldovan delegation met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, responsible for economic diplomacy, Kostas Fragogiannis; with the director of Gastrade, which manages the Alexandroupolis LNG terminal project, Kostas Sifnaios; as well as with the director of the gas supply company, DEPA, Kostas Xifaras.

SA Energocom states that the EFET (European Federation of Energy Traders) type contract precedes any purchase-sale contract and is mandatory between companies in the European Union.

We specify that, in March 2023, “Gazprom” ensures the supply of natural gas in the Republic of Moldova in a total volume of 176.7 million cubic meters monthly, or 5.7 million cubic meters daily. At the same time, the president of the Board of Directors of Moldovagaz, Vadim Ceban stated that taking into account the fact that the price of natural gas supplied by “Gazprom” and “Energocom” are almost identical, by the end of March 2023, “Moldovagaz” will purchase for its consumers about 0.7-0.8 million of cubic meters daily from “Gazprom” and about 1.3-1.5 million cubic meters daily from “Energocom”.
