In Jammu and Kashmir, the State Investigation Agency (SIA) raided different locations on Saturday morning in a case related to terrorist financing. The officers provided this information.
A senior official told that the officials of the investigating agency raided several places with the help of local police and CRPF. He said that searches are being conducted in Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian and Srinagar districts.
Officials said that several premises were searched in Anantnag and Kulgam districts of South Kashmir.
According to the officials, relatives of Sarjan Barkati are also included in the people whose places were raided. Barkati came into limelight in 2016 during the protests on the streets of the valley.
He said the raid was part of an ongoing investigation into a case related to terrorist financing.
