South Korea says North Korea has tested several cruise missiles in its eastern waters. North Korea launched an artificial nuclear attack on South Korea three days ago by firing a ballistic missile.

North Korea has conducted several weapons tests since the start of large-scale military drills by the US and South Korean forces last week.

North Korea calls this military exercise a rehearsal for war, while the US and South Korea call these military exercises exercises to increase defensive measures.

The 11-day military exercise between the US and South Korea ends on Thursday. However, North Korea is likely to continue with the testing activities as the US plans to send an aircraft carrier for another round of joint drills with South Korea in the coming days.

South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said North Korea fired “several” cruise missiles from the northeastern coastal city of Hamhung. He told that these missiles fell in the eastern waters of North Korea.

South South Korean and US intelligence officials are gathering more details about the launch.
