Rallies of the pro-European opposition began in the city early in the morning on March 7, but the draft law “On Transparency of Foreign Influence” has already been practically adopted – it was submitted to the Georgian Parliament by representatives of the ruling party who would like to create a list of non-governmental organizations, media and entities that have frequent receipt of funds from abroad. By evening, the special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia had already entered the streets of the city, but there were no mass arrests and clashes yet.
