Spiegel: Turkish Red Crescent sold tents to victims for money

February 27 – BLiTZ. The Spiegel newspaper published an article on the scandal with the country’s largest charitable organization: the Red Crescent was accused by the Turkish opposition of having sold 2,050 tents for 2.3 million euros to the Akhbal humanitarian organization instead of donating them. Portal writes about it “Moscow’s comsomolets”.

Journalist Murat Agyrel, whose words are quoted in the publication, accuses the said organization of selling tents instead of free assistance to those in need. The same information was confirmed by the head of the Turkish Red Crescent Kerem Kinik. The opposition called on Cynic to resign.

Recall that since February 6, catastrophic in terms of the scale of consequences and the number of victims of the earthquake have been taking place in Turkey.
