Surat: 6 including railway policeman killed in tragic accident in Isroli village of Bardoli

Six members of a family, including a Vadodara Railway police constable, died on the spot when a dumper hit a Swift car on the outskirts of Bardoli’s Isroli village on Saturday afternoon. When the youth of the family was injured, he was admitted to the hospital. The accident took place when the family members were returning from a wedding ceremony at Tarsadi village in Mahuva and were going to Tarsada in Mandvi.

According to the information received, Mahesh Laxmanbhai Rathore, living in Tarsada village of Mandvi and working in Vadodara Railway Police, along with 7 members of his family had gone to Tarsadi village of Mahuva to attend the wedding ceremony in a Swift car. On Saturday, Maheshbhai and family members had left by car to return home. Meanwhile, a dumper driver hit the car on the outskirts of Isroli village in Bardoli. Six people, including a railway policeman, died in this serious accident. While the policeman’s son Meet was injured and was admitted to the hospital. After the accident, people ran towards the spot. The police team also reached and took the dead bodies of all the victims and sent them for postmortem.

Mahesh Rathore, wife Vanita, niece Guddi Harshabhai Patel (Resident-Patan) daughter Navya Rathore have been identified among the dead. While the other two have not been identified. Mourning has spread in the family due to this accident.
