Acharya Mahashraman ji, who came to Surat city, reached Anuvrat Dwar on Saturday morning while taking a stroll through Parvat Patiya. A huge rally started from here and reached the premises of Bhagwan Mahavir Vishwavidyalaya via the road. On this occasion, the university trustees, staff and Jain leaders of the city gave a grand welcome to Acharya Mahashramanji.
On this occasion, Professor Sanjay Jain said that Acharya Mahashraman ji was given a grand welcome. It is our great fortune that Acharya Shri Mahashraman ji will sit in the premises of Bhagwan Mahavir University from 22nd April during Akshay Tritiya. Tomorrow, on April 23, on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, there will be a ritual of 1200 ascetics. On 27th April, 1000 children of Bhagwan Mahaveer Vishwavidyalaya will receive degree from the hands of Acharyashree in Convocation. On this occasion, 15 thousand children of the campus are going to take a pledge to be addiction free in their life. We express our gratitude to Acharya Shree that he has shown us the grace to visit Bhagwan Mahaveer Vishwavidyalaya campus by doing moral grace on us. We felt blessed to have gathered together with the entire campus staff including the family to welcome them on their arrival. The residents of the city should also take advantage of Acharyashree’s discourse and darshan in the coming days.
