There are huge waiting lists in all trains including Tapti Ganga for summer season of May-June 2023 which is a proof that number of trains are very inadequate as compared to passengers going towards North India. For the past decade, many other organizations, including the North Indian Rail Sangharsh Samiti, have been fighting for this demand, under which rallies, hundreds of public meetings, Rail Roko movement, siege of the Railway Minister, and conversations with various officials including GM, DRM of Railways, letters at different stages. behavior has been done.
In the past, during the joint meeting of railway officials and North Indian Railway Sangharsh Samiti, the committee was assured by the railway officials that new trains will be operated after the Udhna Jalgaon railway line is double-tracked, but so far no announcement has been made regarding the new train. Shan Khan, a senior member of the Sangharsh Samiti, said that the railway administration is not living up to its promise, instead of starting new regular trains, the railway administration is charging double-triple fare by running special trains during the season, which means that the railway administration They are systematically looting the North Indians.
