Sanjay Dhangar, a Municipal Corporation sweeper working in Gardnibagh area of Patna, died under suspicious circumstances on Wednesday. He was a resident of Cheena Kothi of Buddha Colony police station. According to the information received, his treatment was going on in PMCH, where he died. After the death, the relatives and other scavengers created a ruckus by keeping the dead body near the Municipal Corporation office in Mauryalok. The police of the Kotwali police station reached on its information, in front of the relatives of the deceased accused the supervisor of beating him to death.

In this regard, Gardnibagh police station Ranjit Rajak said that on Tuesday, information was received from Gardnibagh hospital that a policeman had left after recruiting a sweeper in critical condition. Its condition is bad. As soon as the information was received, the police of Gardnibagh police station reached and admitted him to PMCH for better treatment. According to the information received, the deceased Sanjay Dhangar was the youngest of three brothers. Two more brothers also work in the Municipal Corporation only. There the deceased has a daughter and two sons.
Sanjay died due to beating by supervisor
The relatives alleged that the supervisor used to torture the sweeper Sanjay Dhangar. Used to ask for money and used to make videos while beating for not giving. The police pacified the angry relatives and people by persuading them.

When did not return home, relatives started searching
The sister of the deceased told that he had not returned home for two days. The supervisor told that he is admitted in the hospital somewhere. The relatives were first asked to go to Gardiner Hospital, where they were sent to PMCH if they were not found. When it was not found there also, it came to know that Sanjay’s dead body was kept in an abandoned condition.
