Most businesses, regardless of their size or field of activity, could benefit from the digitization of processes. The program also registered businesses based on manual production – enterprises that want to improve their efficiency, productivity and profitability in order to become more competitive.

The “Great Digitization” program was implemented by Yep!Moldova and Generation NIKA, financed by the American and Swedish peoples within the Future Technologies Project, with the aim of helping small and medium-sized businesses in the Republic of Moldova to improve their processes and relationship with customers, but also to increase their income thanks to digitalization.

Within the program, the implementation of several processes was encouraged, including the creation of a website, the implementation of a CRM system or for placing orders and online payments, archiving and digitizing documents, etc.

“Great Digitization” represented not only effective support for SMEs, but also constituted a platform that brought together businesses with digitization service providers: more than 26 agencies were open to providing support in the digitization of processes from small and medium-sized companies in the country.

In total, as a result of the campaign, more than 200 entrepreneurs enrolled in the program, 60 hours of mentoring with 6 finance and digitization experts were offered, and 4 workshops were organized with lessons and mentoring on digitization and finance. The director of ODA, Dumitru Pintea, had a series of meetings with the participating companies and was present at the question-and-answer sessions with the entrepreneurs, in order to better understand their needs and fit them into the next ODA financing programs.

Online orders, customer records in electronic systems, the creation of websites for better interaction with customers – all this is possible through the SME digital transformation program approved by the RM Government to support businesses to become more efficient and profitable.

Financing programs for digitization continue, and interested businesses are invited to find out details at www.oda.md.
