Recently the 68th Filmfare Awards have been announced. Several Bollywood celebrities attended the award ceremony held at Jio World Convention Centre. This year’s Filmfare Awards featured two films namely “Gangubai Kathiawadi” and “Badhaai Do”.

Rajkumar Rao won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor and Alia Bhatt for Best Actress. The film Gangubai Kathiawadi won 10 awards including Best Film. Harshvardhan Kulkarni’s “Badhaai Do” won maximum six awards in the Critics Award category. Ayan Mukherjee’s “Brahmastra: Part-1 Shiva” has also received awards in four categories. However, Vivek Agnihotri’s “The Kashmir Files” did not get a single award at this year’s Filmfare.

After the announcement of Filmfare Awards, famous actor Anupam Kher has shared a mysterious post on his social media. Anupam Kher said in the post, “Respect is a precious thing. Hence, small people should not be expected to give it.” This post of Anupam Kher is being linked to the Filmfare Award ceremony.

Meanwhile, the film “The Kashmir Files” has been nominated in seven categories at the Filmfare Awards 2023. Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri was not present at the award ceremony. A day before, he had said that he would not attend the award ceremony. Agnihotri had said in a tweet that accepting the Filmfare award was not morally right.
