The Ministry of Defense of Sweden spoke about the lack of flight personnel for the JAS 39 Gripen fighters

February 28 – BLiTZ. The Swedish Ministry of Defense has invested a lot of resources in recent years to strengthen the power of the armed forces – in particular, combat aviation. But this had side effects: for example, the flight crew began to reduce salaries. “Military review” writes that a pilot who starts his career today has a salary less than a rookie in 1999.

And this leads to the fact that in Sweden there is simply no flight crew to service the JAS 39 Gripen fighters – over the past year, the raids of this aircraft have decreased by 12%. This problem is mentioned in the published report of the Swedish Armed Forces.
