The #young transformation experience or how the 2nd edition of the WOW internship program at maib went

During this edition, 12 young people had a unique learning experience, and 5 of them have already been employed in the team bad, starting his career within the best bank in Moldova, according to Global Finance magazine.

Interns in the internship program made the most of the chance to learn from the best – the program’s mentors – experienced professionals who are passionate about what they do, ready to guide the interns to a successful path in their banking careers.

“For me, being a mentor is a great responsibility and honor at the same time, because you are the person who guides, teaches and makes a valuable first contribution to the early career of young specialists. I am glad that I had the opportunity to share my knowledge and I encourage graduates to choose the internship at maybe as they have a real chance to start their career in banking”, he noted Mihai Botnariuc, mentor.

As part of the paid internship program at maybe students of the last year of study from the undergraduate cycle, with full-time or part-time studies from accredited universities in the country, students of the first or second year of studies, master’s program, full-time and part-time studies or students from the year IV of the Center of Excellence in Economics and Finance.

“The biggest challenge was to combine the internship program with the studies and to have maximum results in both directions. Certainly, it was a super useful experience, which helped me understand that this is what I want to do further, that I want to stay at maybe and become a premium manager of excellence,” he noted Sorina Lavric, intern in the internship program, employed in the Offline Network Sales Department of maib.
