Construction work was interrupted for two years

The work of Golambar, to be built 150 meters west of Karbigahia side of Patna Junction, was stalled for two years. The district administration had vacated the land near Golambar. After this, after the work of two pilings, the work of the third piling was obstructed due to the presence of a house on the east side adjacent to the construction site. There the work was interrupted due to non-receipt of compensation amount by the ryot. However, the compensation amount was deposited with the district administration on behalf of the Bridge Construction Corporation. On investigation by the district administration, the compensation was not paid due to the ryot’s claim being declared wrong. Against this, the ryot went to the High Court, after which the High Court stayed the construction work. The High Court had ordered the DM to conduct the hearing. After which the DM held a hearing and the process of acquisition started.
