To hide the pain of loved ones, strangers from home, old age home became a boon

Mirzapur, 14 May (Hindustan Times). There are two types of families. Nuclear family and joint family. The concept of joint family has been there since ancient times. In this, strength has been provided to the eldest of the family and children and youth have been taking advantage of their experience and knowledge. Due to the dominance of the elders of the house due to joint capital, joint residence and joint responsibility, there was always an atmosphere of discipline and respect in the family, but due to rapid industrialization, urbanization, modernization in the changing times, the tradition of joint family has collapsed. It can be said that the joint family is almost finished. Now-a-days children do not like to keep the elders with them.

Seeing the increasing number of old age homes and the elderly living in them, it seems that the gap between today’s young generation and the elderly has become very deep. It is very important to bridge this gap, so that children always get the blessings of parents and elders. When it is the last farewell of the elders, then it should be on the shoulders of their children. Every parent wishes that his bier should go on the shoulders of the child.

Matri Devo Bhava: Pitru Devo Bhava: Parents are the real gods and goddesses on earth.

Sanjay Sharma, superintendent of the old age home located at Patengra Nala in Vindhyachal, said that all the old people living in the old age home are like families. We are not their children, but love their children even more and see the image of our parents in them. I serve them as my parents only. Said that I am very fortunate that I have got the opportunity to serve so many parents. Matri Devo Bhava: Pitra Devo Bhava…. If seen in the true sense on earth, parents are sitting with us in the form of real Gods and Goddesses, but still we do not understand them and until we understand, they are not with me.

Mother Vindhyavasini brought the orphan Madan of Bengal, the story is interesting

Madan Dattu, a resident of Bengal living in an old age home, said that his mother had passed away at the age of six and his father had also passed away at the age of eight. After this, he left for Mumbai in search of livelihood. He didn’t even have money. Gathering courage, he started the journey without a ticket, then in Prayagraj he was dropped from the train by the TT. Then he started going to Mumbai by another train, but once again at Shankargarh another TT deboarded him from the train. After this he intended to return from there and left for Bengal by another train, but he met a TT again at Vindhyachal railway station and got dropped here. Said, you can’t go ahead. After being hungry and thirsty for two days, he made up his mind to work in a hotel and a hotel operator from Vindhyachal hired him to wash utensils etc. at his place. After that he worked in the same hotel for the rest of his life i.e. 50 years. When he became old, the hotel owner removed him. At that time he was neither fit to go anywhere nor fit to work. Meanwhile, an angel advised him to go and live in an old age home, where all arrangements would be made. Presently he is living in old age home for two years and his own family is in this old age home.

Although I went to many ashrams, but after coming to Vindhyachal ashram, I liked it very much here. I feel very relieved. Whoever comes here, does not feel like going anywhere.
