The Turkish city of Elbistan in Kahramanmaraş province has launched an avenue under the name of “King of Bahrain Avenue”.

On the occasion, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, extended his deepest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the well-deserved appreciation by the sisterly Republic of Türkiye, as a tribute to the royal efforts and directives to deliver relief aid to those affected by the devastating earthquake that had struck the country, based on the distinguished fraternal Bahraini-Turkish relations.

He appreciated the great support that the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) receives from the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, stressing that the RHF is honored to implement the royal directives.

RHF Secretary-General, Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed stated that the “King of Bahrain Street” is located in a strategic location in Al Bustan City, which was subjected to violent tremors as a result of the huge devastating earthquake.

Therefore, HM the King’s directives were issued to extend a helping hand to those affected, relieve their pain and heal their wounds, and to perpetuate this.

He indicated that the avenue was named after the King of Bahrain to commemorate the great humanitarian stances of HM the King towards the brothers in Türkiye.
