Baramulla, 04 April (Hindustan Times). So far two terrorists have been killed in the encounter between security forces and terrorists in Baramulla that started on Thursday morning. Ammunition including AK 47 rifles and pistols have been recovered from the slain terrorists.
ADGP Kashmir told that both the terrorists killed in the Baramulla encounter are locals who belong to the terrorist organization Lashkar. They have been identified as Shakir Majeed Nazar and Hanan Ahmed Sheh of Shopian district.
According to the information, security forces were informed about the hiding of terrorists in Vanigam area of Baramulla district. After which the security forces launched a search operation in the area. During this, the terrorists started firing on seeing the security forces coming near them, after which the encounter started. In the encounter, the security forces have killed two terrorists. It is believed that more terrorists are still trapped in the cordon of the security forces, due to which the operation of the security forces is going on.
