The University Grants Commission (UGC) on Tuesday launched its newly designed website, on which detailed information related to students, teachers, colleges, universities etc. can be easily seen.

UGC website has been redesigned

On this occasion, UGC Chairman Professor M. Jagdish Kumar said that the website of UGC has been redesigned as per the requirement of the National Education Policy 2020 and all kinds of information under other sections including students, colleges, universities will be easily accessible. He told that in this, students and parents will be able to easily understand the information and schemes related to higher education through digital medium.

Information will be provided on need basis

Kumar told that the new website has been prepared according to the convenience of universities, colleges, professors and students so that all of them can get information on the basis of their needs. He told that information related to various courses, digital learning outcomes and results will also be available in this.

UGC chairman said that apart from this, different information on quality higher education, change in universities and colleges, skill development, internship, startup, scholarship, regulation, guidelines, placement, foreign universities etc. will also be available.

The aim is to make the new National Education Policy informative and diverse

He told that in July this year it will be three years since the implementation of the new National Education Policy 2020 and that is why the website of the Commission has been redesigned to make it more informative and diverse.
