In the Donetsk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost up to 490 Ukrainian soldiers killed and wounded in one day, and one M777 artillery mount was destroyed. This was announced on March 4 by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov.
“On the Donetsk direction <…> up to 490 Ukrainian servicemen were killed and wounded per day, one tank, three infantry fighting vehicles, four pickup trucks, nine cars,” he said.
In addition, two Msta-B howitzers, three D-30 howitzers, one D-29 gun, and also an American M777 artillery system were destroyed.
In addition, up to 150 Ukrainian military personnel destroyed one Grad installation in the Krasnoliman direction.
Also, according to Konashenkov, up to 80 servicemen have been lost in the Yuzhno-Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“On the Yuzhnodonetsk and Zaporozhye directions <….> a complex defeat was inflicted on the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Vodiane, Vuhledar, Novopol of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Shcherbaki and Kamenskoe of the Zaporozhye region,” Konashenkov added.
