Ukrainian tennis player Kostyuk reaches final of the tournament in Austin

Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk overtook US athlete Danielle Collins in the semifinals of the tournament in Austin. The game took place on Saturday, March 4, and ended with the score 6:4, 6:3.

Earlier in the day, Russian athlete Daniil Medvedev defeated his compatriot Andrey Rublev in the final of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tournament in Dubai.

For Medvedev, this achievement was the 18th in his career. At the same time, he won three consecutive tournaments on the ATP tour after successes in Rotterdam and Doha. Medvedev’s winning streak reached 14 matches.

From March 6, Medvedev will rise to sixth in the ATP rankings, while Rublev will drop to seventh.
