Notorious terror don Dawood Ibrahim, who tested COVID positive in June last year has once again been tested positive and the 66-year-old Dawood is being considered as high-risk patients as he suffers from multiple heath complications including diabetes, asthma and cardiovascular complications.
Dawood, India’s most-wanted criminal is also wanted by Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). He heads a transnational drugs and arms trafficking racket known as D Company. He has been sheltered by the Pakistani spy agency Inter Service Intelligence (ISI) for decades.
In March this year, a group of people claiming to be members of the Hindu Sena held a protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi demanding that 1993 Mumbai blast mastermind be brought back to India and hanged.
Hindu Sena chief Vishnu Gupta said, “Justice has not been delivered even been delivered even after 28 years. We demand that the government should bring back Mumbai blast accused Dawood Ibrahim to India and hang him.”
Over 250 people were killed when 12 coordinated bomb blasts ripped through Mumbai on March 12, 1993.
In May 2020, when media report claimed Dawood Ibrahim and his wife testing COVID positive his brother Anees, who controls D Company’s underworld operations and finance told IANS news agency that his brother was “fine” and no one had tested COVID positive. He said “No one from our family is admitted in the hospital”.
At that time, IANS reporter asked the location of Dawood Ibrahim which was not answered by Anees.
According to credible intelligence sources, Dawood Ibrahim and a number of his family members along with his personal staffs and guards tested positive on May 4th 2021, and were shifted to a number of hospitals in Pakistan. Although the source did not reveal name of the hospital, it is learned from another source that the notorious terror don is being secretly treated in a military hospital in Islamabad. Selected members of Pakistan Army as well as ISI are guarding an entire floor of the hospital, where Dawood Ibrahim is getting treatment. Hospital authorities did not register his name or names of any of the members of this terror family.
The source further said that since Wednesday, Dawood Ibrahim is having breathing problem and he has been put on oxygen in a secured CCU unit in the hospital.
