Puneet, a medical student in the city’s private medical college, was passing through Sendha village of Bhamora police station area on his bike. His bike was hit by a tanker. Puneet died as a result. The relatives of the deceased present in the district hospital told that Puneet was returning home after completing his medical studies at Rohilkhand Medical College in Bareilly.

Driver detained after taking possession of tanker

Puneet’s bike was hit by a speeding tanker near Sedha village of Bhamaura police station area. Due to this, Puneet died on the spot. The local people ran and stopped the tanker after the accident. After this the information of the incident was given to the police. Police took the tanker into custody and took the driver into custody, and informed the relatives from the mobile phone found in the pocket of the deceased. Police took the dead body and sent it to the district hospital. The relatives identified the dead body. Took it in and sent it to postmortem. The deceased was the eldest of four siblings. His mother Rajeshwari is in bad condition by crying.
