Vadodara: Corporation’s newly constructed Makarpura Community Hall opened for public use

Now offline booking, draw system for booking after four months After the opening of the community hall built in 5018 square meter area in Makarpura by Vadodara Municipal Corporation at a cost of 2.14 crores on April 26, the whole meeting was held on the basis of the proposal of the Standing Committee. With the approval, it has been opened for the use of people for Manglik and other events. Today the first marriage ceremony has also been organized there.

This is the 20th Community Hall near Pump House, next to Homi Bhabha Primary School. At present whoever comes to book for the use of this community hall will be allotted offline on first come first serve basis. Other guesthouses have a draw system like the online one. It will be implemented here also. Other guesthouses have a four-month draw system. Today from 8th May to 8th September i.e. after four months the booking will come. Then the community hall will be allotted through a draw system. Administrative charges will be taken for this community hall along with deposit, rent and GST fixed by the Municipal Corporation.

The Standing Committee has also approved the purchase of gas fireplaces, new gas connections, purchase of equipment for lawn maintenance of the garden, RO, cooler etc. for this newly started hall. Vadodara Corporation is also constructing a community hall in Nizampura area at a cost of 2.48 crores, which will also be opened on completion.
