Ben & Jerry’s is no more a family business of some Jewish entrepreneurs. Back in 2001, Unilever, a British-Dutch conglomerate bough this American Vermon-based ice cream manufacturer. One of the main conditions of the selling of Benn & Jerry’s to Unilever was to continue the “corporate image of Ben & Jerry’s social responsibility” and its left-leaning social activism.
Jewish entrepreneurs Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield established Ben & Jerry’s few decades back. A significant portion of its pretax profits were being donated into public charities.
French born Yves Coutte was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Unilever owned Ben & Jerry’s. Earlier, Coutte has worked in important positions of Unilever in Mexico and India. Couette knew that some things needed to change at Ben & Jerry’s to deliver a financial return to Unilever. In a very un–Ben & Jerry’s act, he downsized the company–eliminating jobs and closing plants. He provided structure and introduced some basic organizational practices, and opened Ben & Jerry’s positions to Unilever’s global talent pool. Knowing that these moves would be unpopular with the employees, he justified them by saying that “the best way to spread Ben & Jerry’s enlightened ethic throughout the business world was to make the company successful.”
Most importantly, the decision of Ben & Jerry’s patronizing controversial figures like Linda Sarsour was not a decision of the “Jewish entrepreneurs”. Instead, it was a corporate decision of the British-Dutch conglomerate; and all of us are aware of the rise of anti-Semitism in the UK. So, if we simply accuse Ben & Jerry’s for patronizing Linda Sarsour of those leftists, it will be totally unwise. Let us now know – it is Unilever, which has been using this subsidiary for promoting anti-Semitism and socialism in the US. Their ulterior motive is to jeopardize American democracy, democratic institutions and also to help anti-Semitism to rise so that it can substantially affect the American Jews.
Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) in a statement said, “Appallingly, Ben and Jerry’s has given the public a new reason to not buy their fat-and-sugar-laden and unhealthy ice cream: A new Ben and Jerry’s flavor called “PeCAN Resist” supports unsavory hate-promoting, violence-promoting, anti-Semitic political groups, including: the Israel-bashing “Women’s March” along with its Jew-hating, violence-promoting, anti-Israel boycott-promoting leaders Linda Sarsour and Farrakhan associate Tamika Mallory; “Color of Change,” which is running a campaign promoting Maxine Waters’ call for harassment and incivility; and a subsidiary of “Progress Texas” which is demonizing pro-Israel Senator Ted Cruz as a subhuman monster. This is frankly sickening and frightening, especially so soon after the Pittsburgh Synagogue massacre and other appalling anti-Semitic and violent incidents.
“It is deeply painful that Ben & Jerry’s heads Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield – who are Jewish – are promoting, financially supporting and taking a smiling picture with Jew-haters such as Linda Sarsour, who promote massacres (the intifada) and boycotts against Ben & Jerry’s fellow Jews. Ben & Jerry’s insensitive, alarming and downright dangerous promotion has been correctly widely criticized, including in Israel and by the Simon Wiesenthal Center.
“Sadly, these are not the only outrages from Ben & Jerry’s founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield. Back in 2015, Ben & Jerry’s banded together with the radical anti-Israel Soros-funded MoveOn.org to defame, vilify and financially harm patriotic Democrat U.S. Senators who oppose the catastrophic Iran deal.
“Ben and Jerry’s “PeCAN Resist” flavor proceeds benefits the following groups:
“Women’s March (led by Jew-bashers Linda Sarsour, Tamika Mallory and Angela Davis) – The Women’s March and its leaders have an extensive record of virulent anti-Semitism and incitement towards the Jewish state. At the major Washington DC Women’s March, Women’s March leaders Angela Davis and Linda Sarsour invoked anti-Israel blood libels and falsehoods during their keynote speeches. Angela Davis conjured up the “classic” blood libel that the Jewish state was denying water to Palestinian Arabs; falsely compared Flint, Michigan’s water situation to the “West Bank” and Gaza, and demanded “freedom and justice for Palestine.” Sarsour stated that she was “unapologetically Muslim-American, unapologetically Palestinian-American,” and complained that her Palestinian grandmother lives in “occupied territories” – thereby invoking the falsehood that Israel is an “occupier” of the Jewish homeland. Sarsour also said that she was honored to stand with Tamika Mallory – who closely associates with Louis Farrakhan. The related Detroit Women’s convention was also rife with anti-Israel speakers, such as CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations, an unindicted co-conspirator involved in funneling money to Hamas) Executive Director Zahra Billoo, who called Israel “baby killers” and referred to supporters of Israel as “racist Zionists,” saying “I’m more afraid of racist Zionists who support apartheid Israel than of the mentally ill young people the FBI recruits to join ISIS.”
Moreover, the biased Women’s March “Unity Principles” protect Muslim women and certain others – but not Jewish women. Further, when two Jewish actresses were scheduled at the Los Angeles Women’s March, Palestinian-Arab groups boycotted and maligned them, Sarsour endorsed this boycott, and the boycott “inspired” a raft of anti-Israel speeches at the L.A. Women’s March. In addition, the virulently anti-Israel “Ahed Tamimi Contingent,” including leading anti-Israel boycott groups JVP and Adalah-NY, was part of the New York January 2018 Women’s March, and held up signs and made vile statements celebrating Palestinian-Arab terrorist Ahed Tamimi; opposing the presence of Zionists in the Women’s March; saying “Zionist feminism is a contradiction in terms” and “Zionism historically and today is immersed in racism and white supremacy”; and even comparing Zionists to the KKK.
“Women’s March leader Linda Sarsour’s lengthy, vile record of anti-Semitism, attacking women, inciting violence and terror attacks against Jews and Israel, and promoting anti-Israel and anti-Jewish boycotts.”
While Unilever is patronizing violence and terror attacks against Jews and Israel, and promoting anti-Israel and anti-Jewish boycotts, categorically hold them responsible of committing a heinous crime; for which Jews in particular and Semitic forces in general should now call for a total boycott of Unilever products around the world. Israeli authorities should immediately ban Unilever products.
Jews and Semitic forces around the world should remember this is a noble battle against the anti-Semitic forces. If Jews and Semitic forces will win – it will be a victory of truth. If Unilever wins – it will be the beginning of a terrible consequence for the world.
