Water is life.. We have always heard this. But those of us probably do not know that about 3 percent of the water in this whole earth with 71 percent water is drinkable. There are many areas of many countries where even today people yearn for potable natural water.

World Water Day is celebrated every year to tell people the importance of water and to conserve water. The conference is organized by the UN on World Water Day. This year, the UN 2023 Water Conference will be held in New York from March 22 to 24, with the aim of spreading awareness among people about water conservation.

For the first time in the world, Water Day was first proposed in the Environmental Development Conference held in Brazil in 1992. Which was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in December 1992. The proposal to celebrate World Water Day was passed in the year 1992, since then it was announced to celebrate World Water Day every year on 22 March. World Water Day was celebrated for the first time on 22 March 1993. In 2010, the United Nations recognized the right to safe and clean drinking water and sanitation as a human right.
