Former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia has said in a message sent from Tihar Jail that he can be imprisoned and tortured, but his morale cannot be broken.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sisodia on February 26 over alleged corruption in the formulation and implementation of the Delhi Excise Policy for 2021-22.

This policy has now been cancelled. Sisodia was also arrested by the Enforcement Directorate earlier this week.

Sisodia’s official Twitter handle tweeted in Hindi, Saheb, you can hurt me by putting me in jail, but you can’t break my spirits.
