YouTube video hosting blocked several channels of Russian bloggers Vladimir Kuznetsov (Vovan) and Alexei Stolyarov (Lexus), known, among other things, for their pranks on Western politicians. Kuznetsov spoke about this in an interview with TASS 5th of March.

According to him, the channel with pranks for foreign audiences was blocked, the main channel called Show ViL, as well as the news channel Cart Online, which was run by fellow bloggers, where Kuznetsov and Stolyarov acted as speakers.

According to Kuznetsov, the prank with former British Foreign Minister William Hague could serve as the reason.

“This is done in order to prevent foreign audiences from hearing their own politicians – this is the main reason. Of course, when foreign media take and broadcast, they do it from YouTube. <…> Our viewers from the Baltics complain that RuTube is blocked for them, for example, ”he said.

The prank with Haig in question was published on Rutube and YouTube video hosting sites on March 1. In a conversation with the pranksters, the former head of the British Foreign Office said that Kyiv needs new offensive forces and weapons. In particular, he advocated the supply of longer-range missiles to Ukraine.

In addition, Haig made it clear that Ukraine’s accession to NATO could take a very long time due to the large number of bureaucratic procedures. Nevertheless, he believes that Kyiv needs guarantees of support from Western countries.

Earlier, on February 20, pranksters Vovan and Lexus talked to former German Chancellor Angela Merkel on behalf of ex-president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. During the conversation, the ex-chancellor said that the Minsk agreements were needed to give Kyiv time to prepare for the conflict.
