Online warrior Ari Fuld, a resident of Efrat, father of four, was murdered on Sunday morning at the Gush Etzion Junction. A sergeant in an IDF reserves elite paratroopers unit and assistant director of Standing Together, an organization that supports IDF soldiers, Fuld was a tireless advocate for Israel, appearing in communities around the world, and hosting several TV shows, including his signature live broadcast on Facebook.
“I fight anti Israel propaganda and expose those who spread it,” Fuld described himself on Facebook. “I will give the facts to defend Israel and to destroy those who lie and fabricate history.”
Fuld described a typical encounter he had had in the Machane Yehuda shuk in late June, 2018, when he heard some Americans saying to each other, “Find the American students, we are looking for Birthright participants.”
“I turned around to see 3 Americans with pink shirts on that say All That’s Left and on the back side, Stop the occupation!”
In his encounter with the three anti-Zionist activists, their leader admitted he did not live in Israel and could not answer a single historic question about his ideology pertaining to the “Occupation of Palestine.”
“When did Israel occupy ‘Palestine?’ … From whom? When did it exist?” Fuld demanded
“I asked him why he continues to advocate for this narrative even though he understands it has no connection to reality and truth. He simply said that he sees truth differently,” Fuld related.
In the summer of 2018, Fuld ran a Cool-A-Chayal fundraising campaign on Jewcer, to help IDF soldiers who are getting unbearably hot while protecting the land under helmets and heavy vests. The Cool Collar is a wearable cooling device that relieves the discomfort and dangers of outdoor heat. Powered by QuickSnow, a rechargeable cooling technology (made in Israel), the Cool Collar lasts approximately 2 hours.
