Pro-jihadist Ilhan Omar pushes blasphemy law in the US

Soon none in the United States will be enjoying the freedom of expression. They will be legally barred from condemning radical Islam and jihad and would also face persecution if anyone dares uttering a word against radical Islamic terrorism. This is exactly what Ilhan Omar and most the Islamists in the US are looking for. They want an American version of blasphemy law to silence everyone from condemning radical Islam and jihad. On the other hand, Muslims will enjoy extended privilege of criticizing Jews and Christians in particular and also desperate push forward anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial. Once HR 5665 is approved by the US Senate and Joe Biden, America will enter a dark era of Islamist conquest.

According to media reports, the Combating International Islamophobia Act directs the State Department to create a special envoy and office on the issue. Under the bill, those entities would monitor and combat Islamophobia around the world.

Additionally, the legislation would update current law regarding how the department reports on human rights and international religious liberty. Meaning, once HR 5665 get approvals, the US can impose sanctions on any individual, organization or country for condemning radical Islam and jihad. In other words, it is going to be far more disturbing than blasphemy law which is being strictly enforced in a number of Muslim countries, including Pakistan. Most importantly, following Joe Biden’s humiliating retreat from Afghanistan, leaving the country at mercy of the Taliban mullahs, Ilhan Omar’s bill can only be seen as a total defeat of the United States of America. Most importantly, lethargic American media as well as those decent voices are totally silent about this crucial issue as if they already have surrendered their right of free expression to the forces of radical Islam.

While talking to Fox News, human rights attorney Brooke Goldstein blasted Ilhan Oma for being part of systemic anti-Semitism.

“There is an alarming rise of Jew hatred to the point where it has become systemic … I use the word systemic for a reason because Jew hatred is no longer on the fringes of society – it has become systemic. [It comes from] politicians like Ilhan Omar, who accuse Jewish Americans of having dual loyalty”, the Lawfare Project director, Jewish civil rights legal arm, said on “Fox News Live”.

“This is coming from someone in the United States right now in a position of power”, she added.

Goldstein, including some of Omar’s Democratic colleagues, view the congresswoman’s past statements on Israel to cross a line into anti-Semitism. Her critics say she leveled a “dual loyalty” charge against American Jews. According to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance, whose working definition was adopted by the US State Department, anti-Semitism includes, “Accusing Jewish citizens of being more loyal to Israel, or to the alleged priorities of Jews worldwide, than to the interests of their own nations”.

Other remarks by Omar that have received blow back include when she implied the US-Israel relationship was “all about the Benjamins baby”, and in an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper Omar was criticized for appearing to suggest that Jewish members of Congress were not equally interested in justice.

Ilhan Omar’s outrageous audacity

Rep. Ilhan Omar’s latest remarks about Israel and Jewish members of Congress have sparked backlash, as the Minnesota Democrat expressed zero regret for comparing Israel to Hamas and the Taliban.

In a CNN interview, Omar said she does not regret her tweet from earlier this month in which she lumped Israel, the US, Hamas, and the Taliban together. When asked if she knows why fellow Democrats – particularly Jews – found previous comments of hers about Israel to be anti-Semitic,  Omar accused them of not being “partners in justice” while claiming that she herself “knows what it feels like to experience injustice in ways that many of my colleagues don’t”.
